[Solved] rss issue

This is possibly not because of txp but our rss validation is failing. Does anyone have any idea why?

I was just thinking if it would be a good idea to make the site_slogan field compulsory as it is necessary for the validation of the rss feed which requires a <description>.

Probably better to mention something about it in the relevant pophelp, and/or a docs page. Honestly, a mandatory anything would drive me mad.
