Sounds like a great alternative but it seems that only a few hosts who support it. Would I risk it with a txp site? Not yet.

These domains can only be accessed using our democratic nameservers.
Oh boy. An end user tech support nightmare.
It looks like they’re running custom name servers (think: hosts
file, but scaled up), and anyone who wants to access the TLDs they offer has to use their name servers.
