.org registry sold under shady conditions

ISOC has sold the .org registry to a private equity firm and removed the cap on price increases for a TLD used primarily by non-profit groups.

If you own a .org domain and really want to keep it a while, you might want add some years on your lease while it’s still cheap-ish.
