Trix editor is it useful for textpattern ?

Hi,

I came across this editor https://github.com/basecamp/trix and find it interesting do you think it s useful for teh textpattern project ?

Maybe… From a brief look, it seems as if it converts the content to an internal document model and then writes it back to a hidden input as HTML on saving. It looks like it would have most potential for very simple “text-writing” situations, as things like inline txp:tags may be lost (I’ve not tested that, maybe they survive as code?). There’s another post somewhere on another online service that shows added support for tables. Looked very nice but amounted to a second instance of the editor launched within the editor and the resulting table included in the original by (ab)using the attachment function.

Otherwise it looks/seems way nicer than many of the other popular wyswig-html-editors.
