Seeking Developer for fun Music & Pop Culture TXP Site

Hey Everyone,

New to the forum and in need of a developer to help with continued tweaks, upgrades, and world media domination. Happy to elaborate further and answer all questions, but we’re simply seeking a TXP wiz to help keep our site running smoothly, perform upgrades when needed, elevate our web offering, and tell us what needs fixing.

OVERVIEW:
Founded in 2005 by Chris Gonda and Aaron Willschick, PureGrainAudio spent 12 years developing into Canada’s premiere source for all forms of Rock, Metal, Punk and Hardcore music. After a year of behind-the-scenes work, the website re-launched in early 2017 and expanded into other musical genres plus Pop Culture. Now in its 14th year of operation, PureGrainAudio boasts a global staff of 100+ with Managing Editors in Canada, the US, UK and South Africa.

Thanks for the interest!

best.
Chris

Hi gonda,

not a lot of response.

Do you want a audit of your web platform ?
Or do you have already identified problems and improvements?

Hi, can you provide more details about what needs fixing/developing/upgrading on the site and I might have a couple of contacts that could discuss further?

Heya All, to answer the above folks’ questions, while the list is ongoing and dynamic, we’re hoping for:

1. Upgrade TXP to latest version (and upgrade future versions).
2. Clean our dead/redundant parts of TXP and Plugins left by previous dev
3. Update/Fix some features/functionality of the website. For example, we have a contest entry submission form that used to display a confirmation dialogue upon entry, now nothing shows.
4. Having trouble with free downloads of MP3 files over a certain file size in that they’re not downloading.
5. Overall cleaning of HTML/CSS code if/where possible
6. Removing code of dead programs such as Pingdom
7. Adding new features and links, for example, we want to launch a digital store.
8. Recommending what we can do to make the site faster, more 2019, and raise our SEO
