Steps for going from rah_flat back to regular DB-driven?

By necessity, I have to return a site from the dead. It’s currently running 4.6.2 and rah_flat. I’m going to be stripping a lot of things out, plugins included along the way, and down to a bare-bones site. It will become a memorial site at that point and never touched again except for the occasional Txp upgrade as needed, starting with 4.7.

Can I just turn rah_flat off and remove the /templates folder at that point, or is this murkier waters?

Re: Steps for going from rah_flat back to regular DB-driven?

Yes, as rah_flat syncs to the database, you should have all your templates in the database. I suggest disabling rah_flat first, and then remove the /templates directory.

It might also work the other way around. I suspect (but can’t remember for sure) that the plugin complains if it can’t find the folder.

Always a good idea to make a db backup first, though.

Thank you. That’s how I was seeing it too, but just wanted to make sure.
