Dean Allen, R.I.P.
Last weekend, Textpattern tragically lost its founder, Dean Allen. Despite being away from the project for the best part of a decade, the CMS he devised and built lives on and we shall continue to support it in the spirit in which it was created. The upcoming Textpattern 4.7.0 is dedicated to his memory.
We are intending to present an “In memory of Dean” blog post on the textpattern.com site. Anybody who knew him personally – or even shared correspondence – please get in touch with one of us via email with anecdotes or information that we can publish. If anybody wishes to write a piece in its entirety, please let us know and we’ll post it. Thank you.
