I’m a bit out of the loop on some Textpattern stuff, so excuse me if this has been covered already.
textpattern.org resolves to the same IP as textpattern.com, so I assume it’s on the same VPS. Checking just now, textpattern.com has valid SSL. Is it viable to enable SSL on textpattern.org? The CA is Let’s Encrypt! and I’m guessing that it should be straightforward to generate the SSL and the existing cron task will renew every however often it runs.

I’m replacing textpattern.org with a new site at plugins.textpattern.io in 2018, so it’s not worth changing protocol. I don’t have login to the .org site anyway I don’t think (and don’t need any data from there for new site).
