4.7-dev: Cannot save articles with Firefox ?

Following Oleg’s recent patches, I cannot save (new / update) articles with Firefox (tested 55 and 52ESR on macOS)

After pressing the “save” button the spinner is visible, but the message box (article saved) never appears and of course the article is not created / saved.

I can partly reproduce this with Opera (latest beta build) as well but only if I use the keyboard shortcut (provided by the `rah_knots` extension). Pressing the “Save / Publish” button works fine. Safari has no problems in any case (saving works fine).

logging in the Firefox console:

SyntaxError: expected expression, got '<'[Learn More] index.php:2

Thanks for testing, should be fixed now, though not sure for rah_knots.

Why not integrate an updated version of rah_knots into the core? It’s not much code and very useful.

Yes! And rah_knots works fine in both Opera and Firefox (and most importantly for me, Safari).

Yes, this would indeed be useful (and other CMSes do this so there is a precedent). Maybe open an issue for it?

That would certainly be welcome.

Why not, but please keep in mind that rah_knots processes every keystroke, even when you simply type an article. The admin side is already scripted enough, I wouldn’t like it to become a WP-like CPU eater.
