Plugin Request: Form/Section aware recent comments
Really, why the current recent_comments tag does not include parameters for forms or sections (or pretty much anything beyond its limited scope) is beyond me.
Using forms gives users unlimited formatting options (although I would miss the ability to limit the comment body to a few words, per the plugin I currently use.
Other options, such as making them category/section aware (and so forth) would be pretty rad too.

I wrote a section aware recent comments… It doesn’t pay attention to category however. Take a peek at the plugin list.

Yes, I downloaded your plugin. It’s great that it can sort by section, but what about forms?
What I would really love is the ability to customize output via forms.

Mmm, probably doesn’t do that :). I think it was one of the first ones I ever did, so I don’t know that it’s terribly sophisticated. (Frankly, most of the ones I write are pretty far from sophisticated. They’re usually pretty quick and dirty.)
If I get some time, I’ll see if I can improve it a bit.
