Google Cloud Source Repositories

Or maybe it’s suppositories. Yo!

In any case, it’s probably why Google Code was phased out.

Re: Google Cloud Source Repositories

Isn’t that solely for apps that run on Google’s Cloud platform? Certainly looks that way…

By allowing you to manage your source in your cloud projects along with your other cloud resources, you’ve got a one-stop shop for everything you’re doing in Google Cloud Platform.

Re: Google Cloud Source Repositories

Probably. I didn’t really look at it in detail, as it’s not something I (personally) will actually be using.

Yeah, Google have a habit of announcing something big and current, then getting bored with it after a few months and leaving it half baked. See Google+ (now semi-retired), Google Font API, Google Drive, etc.

Google Drive? I think your sources are wrong on that one, but no matter.

G+ is mystery meat, for sure.

Google does have a recognized history of abandoning things (there’s a long list). The most unfortunate loss, IMO, was Google Reader.

Re: Google Cloud Source Repositories

Yeah, Google Drive. I use the paid enterprise version of it (Google for Work) and there have been promised features missing from it for 2 years now (like the option to sync only certain local folders, not one overall folder). It’s brilliant and frustrating in equal measure.
