Keystone.js
keystone.js — Some people I’m familiar with who are vested in CMS tech say good things about this. I wouldn’t know myself, as far as .js goes, but thought I’d share it.
One thing that’s interesting to me about it is that WordPress users leave WP for Keystone as a publishing system solution.

It’s a fine tool for actual developer teams, and gives some concrete use for Node in non-passive production side of things.
As far as WP goes, I wouldn’t jump to it from WordPress unless you have a competent JavaScript programmer on the payroll. Downsides to some would be that it uses Node.js (efficiency) and the code is going to be well — JavaScript. Not the most maintainable language ever.

I could be wrong but I think MongoDB is probably overkill for most people unless they are running some heavy-traffic site.

Another reason not to use MongoDB:
