Poor accessibility to Textpattern Server

During the past few days it was difficult, over extended periods, to go to www.textpattern.com. At the moment, forum.textpattern.com works, but www.textpattern.com is not accessible.

I would like that my feedback will be taken seriously. I don’t write them just as if they were a joke. When I wrote several times, email subscription doesn’t work —and still doesn’t work— then this was and is a valid feedback. And if the access to the Forum at least a whole day doesn’t work (I think it was on tuesday, and see Hilary Quinn’s post in Google+), then this is a valid feedback, even if it works from Europe. I hope I’m not crazy, they are my real-life experiences.

Same issue here from Japan:

traceroute: unknown host textpattern.com

Are you using Google Public DNS? I had problems with Textpattern sites, and switching from Google to OpenDNS solved it.

Gonna be honest – this is a bit annoying. I’m trying to download the latest version of Textpattern and it seems like that’s not gonna be happening tonight.

I’ve tried flushing my DNS and switching to OpenDNS to no avail.

You can use SVN if being annoyed doesn’t suffice:

svn checkout http://textpattern.googlecode.com/svn/releases/4.5.5/source stable

of course it’s valid and taken seriously, I’m just trying to help the devs to narrow the problem. Yet not very successfully, since textpattern.com doesn’t work in Europe anymore :)

This is caused by an issue in the nameserver. Robert has reached Dean and he is on it. Textpattern.com uses no-longer functional nameserver, but we don’t own our textpattern.com domain and as such we ourselves have no access to change the nameserver configuration.
