tom_image_grid : Grid UI for images tab

tom_image_grid is a plugin for Textpattern 4.5.* CMS. It allows a more compact display (as a grid) of the images list.

The plugin adds two buttons in the Image Tab of your back-office allowing you to switch from the standard display to a more compact grid display.

Hmmm, very strange.
When you display your image list in standart list view, do you see thumbails ?

Edit : instead of the thumbnail you have the text ‘no’, as if textpattern did not create thumbnails. Please see in Edit Image tab if your are created thumbnails for yours images

yes … you are correct. once i created the Thumbnail it worked.

Question: obviously i have never created thumbnails versions i the past – Why should one create thumbnails? what is their purpose?

You’ll remember this piece of software ;) And scaling down normal images to thumbnail sizes via CSS width doesn’t result in sharper images.

Textpattern use Thumbnail in Image List too.
If you want a preview of your images in images List Tab, You Need create Thumnails.
