Theme installing

Group,

I’m a newbie and sorry if what I’m asking seems simple minded. But why are theme so hard to install on TXP?

I can’t just drop the theme folder in one place and select if from the admiration tab?

Is there a simple step by step guide to help me?

I’m wondering about using TXP or should I look at other CMS’s.

are you referring to a Theme for the administrative back -end (the Control Panel) or a “theme” for your site?

There are Front-of-Site themes if you look around . On the Admin side there are three to use from: in the CP choose Admin > Preferences > Advanced > Admin-side theme
