NetBeans integration
hello
I’ve been using NetBeans (currently 7.4 RC1) for some time and I find it as an extremely friendly and boosting my productivity environment.
I would suggest someone to start (I could help, but I’m not such a great Java dev to do it alone) a plugin for NB
Of course it works best when you can edit forms and pages as files, not as DB entities….
Advantages:- Code completion with the documentation in a popup
- Code validation on the fly
- integrated svn/git/cvs, database management in IDE
- TXP project: testing infrastructure, “important files” exposed in the files tree, some others goods
- TXP plugin would be visible to all the PHP developers: now, when you open “plugins” window and scan PHP section, you can see FuelPHP, Yii, Symfony1/2, Zend1/2. Imagine TXT in this neighborhood. it’s THOUSANDS of people, who probably never heard about TXP before…
