[textile] Textile links and url with parentheses
Hello textile users,
For first time, I want to create a link to a url that has parentheses.
Yes, WIkipedia use sometime parentheses in url. For exempl this :
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_(livre)
And if I write that :
"$":http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_(livre)the last parenthesis is not included in the link : fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_(livre)
Someone has an idea ?

I don’t know if there is a way to make Textile include the closing parenthesis, but as a temporary solution you could use a url shortener like bit.ly.

As a workaround try using a link alias, like so:
This is "the wikipedia page about a page":page, in french.
[page]http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_(livre)Offline

Tried it on txstyle.org/ and yes it works, but apparently only with a funny combination of HTML and HEX codes:

Finaly, the only alternative to
"$":http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_(livre) to have a url readable and functional link is
"http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_(livre)":http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_%28livre%29dual encoding : too complicated, a true geek stuff.
I abandon the idea of using a readable url.
