Old category1 name displays

I changed the NAME on a category from a longer name with spaces to a simple one-word name. The title (exactly the same as old longer name w/spaces) has not been changed.

However, if I do this, I keep getting the longer name w/spaces. (Old category name? Title, somehow?)

<txp:if_article_category number='1'><txp:category1 title='0' /></txp:if_article_category>

Weird huh? Anybody have ideas what could be going on? Thanks!

Re: Old category1 name displays

I just updated the Title to make it slightly different (it still contains one space), to see if Category1 is somehow picking up the Title. But Category1 is still showing the old format, – before making any of the changes to name or title.

I checked the database, and the Name and Title ARE updated there. Where on earth is this old value coming from?

Re: Old category1 name displays

(Again, in database ..) Checked the article in the Textpattern table, – the Category1 value is correct.

— Where is this old value coming from? Bizarre. (BTW, we’re on TXP version 4.4.0)

Re: Old category1 name displays

I had to get out of the article edit, get back in, select the category again, save. And then the correct category showed up. – Makes no sense to me, but it’s working!
