Make .htaccess ignore subdomain/test installation
This is a How Do I…? not an answer. In short I have a subdomain coming out of a subfolder where TXP is installed. I’m testing the replacement and it forms its Permlinks differently. Test posts get blocked by the main URL’s 404 error
I only suspect this is the .htaccess file kicking in – I can’t make the Permlinks match at the moment so can I tell the .htaccess file to omit a subfolder from its rules? Seems easy, is it a valid operation?
Main site, TXP 4.5 (/title) Its replacement, TXP 4.5.2 with Aperture theme installed (/section/title). Also removed .htaccess file from subfolder where new installation is, kept bringing up 404 error.
Voice Actor – starting up a site for that good book stuff.
