Weirdness with Comment display
Newbie – be gentle
Learning Textpattern and learning that older themes are a challenge to get working.
Almost Spring is at www.salsburg.us. I have dealt with some deprecated tags, but the strangeness occurs when I click on the comment link Instead of the default content’s “nice site” comment, I get the entire text of the minified CSS. Should, of course say:
Comment

Does it happen with all comments, and what is in comments
form?

Re: Weirdness with Comment display
I found:
http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=31824
Which describes txp:message being deprecated in favor of f txp:comments message (and how it is not in Textbook).
Now the full comment is displayed, but the css is still there. I’ll create another comment to see what happens.

Re: Weirdness with Comment display
New article called “Number One” posted. Added a comment and the CSS appears immediately. Take a look. I’m going to review the form again.

Weird: No commenter’s name this time, no date, no message, just the CSS. Edit: And the CSS sits inside a (HTML-) form with an ID txpCommentInputForm
.
Please post the contents of your comment forms.

In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

Cancel the alert! Comment_form was the problem. Looks like it didn’t get updated. User error.
