Deleting all aspects of a packaged theme
Hi,
A basic question, but I have searched for two days and have not found a solution.
I installed a packaged theme from Protext themes, Aperture. I messed it up and wished to delete it. I have deleted a number of things, including plugins and as many pages, styles as I can. However, two pages and one style remain with no option to delete. There are NO catagories, NO articles, and NO sections.
I want to clean up so that I can try a new theme or reinstall Aperture.
If I need to get support from Protext I will do that, although support is only available through the forum and that is invitation only, so its a process.
What can I do to get rid of all aspects of this theme to prepare for a fresh installation?
Thank you.

Re: Deleting all aspects of a packaged theme
The pages are probably used by a section – so you need to break the association in the sections tab.
According to the terms and conditions, you can contact Protext Themes via Stuarts contact form here

Thank you. I don’t have any sections visible, so I will probably need further support from Stuart. I appreciate your response.

Sounds like a job for an uninstaller type of thing.
I think you can do that with one of arg_empty_canvas and sed_cleaner.

In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

Oh yes: backup before! These might try to burn all your precious articles.

Re: Deleting all aspects of a packaged theme
I used arg_empty_canvas and it appears to have worked great. sed_cleaner was unable to get rid of the remaining pages and styles.
Thanks so much for your help, everyone!
