Fixed: How do I get text pattern to recognize libGD2?
Hi all,
I installed textpattern 4.4.1 yesterday on my Debian Squeeze box and have been playing around with moving an existing static site to textpattern. It works very well, now I am making parts of it dynamic and stumbled on an issue with thumbnail generation:
I do have libGD2 (more precisely: libgd2-noxpm 2.0.36~rc1~dfsg-5) installed, but the textpattern diagnostics page claims “GD Image Library: unavailable”. Consequently, thumbnails are not created.
Further information from the diagnostics:
PHP version: 5.3.3-7+squeeze8
all pre-flight checks passed
How can I fix this?

Edit: I found out I have to install the php5-gd package to have php recognize libGD. Would be good to list this as an installation requirement.
