slider on .com site broken

just to let you know: since some days the slider on textpattern.com

is broken under opera for windows. sometimes it shows a distorted image, sometimes only alt-text. my first thought that it has got to do with opera’s 11.60 release, but no, same problem on my laptop still with opera 11.51.

can somebody confirm or is it my equipment?

confirming that it is broken on Opera: Version 11.51, Build 1087, on Mac

OK, that was weird. It seems that Opera has trouble displaying some JPEGs run through the latest version of ImageOptim. I’ve contacted the author of that app to let them know of this issue and re-uploaded images without using ImageOptim, which fixes the display problem.
