Collegiate Golf Team

Hey there,

finally managed to finish my third textpattern-powered website: http://tinyurl.com/5tz7aoz
Big thanks to all the plugin developers, e.g. adi, bot, glx, glz, rah, rvm, smd, upm and wet (just to name a few) – and the import of more than 1500 images would have been ugly without fpx!

This website likes you and your plugins very much ;-)

Re: Collegiate Golf Team

Good clean design that is well suited for its purpose. I like it too but would like it better if it catered better for old gentlemen golfers like me. You can do this easily by increasing the Droid Serif body font size from 13 to 16 pixels. At age 40, only half the light gets through to the retina as it did at age 20. For 60-year-olds, it’s just 20%. Excellent article covering the subject of body font size here: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2011/10/07/16-pixels-body-copy-anything-less-costly-mistake/.

Re: Collegiate Golf Team

Thanks for that link! We discussed the font size in our team, but I couldn’t manage to convince the others of blowing it up. Luckily there’s still the zooming possibility in every modern browser.

Yes, that’s true but the result of zooming generally looks like crap.
