Welcome to Textpattern!
Registrations are removed if there are zero posts, and you haven’t logged in for 90 days. I understand this might occasionally include users with no other than good intentions, but it’s mainly targetting spam accounts.

Twice, my account was removed within a month, certainly not three. And I was logged in during that time…
To me, this whole situation doesn’t feel like a warm welcome, sorry.

No, I can understand that. It certainly wasn’t our intention. Sorry about that, and thanks for letting us know, we will have a look at the cleanup procedure.

Re: [feedback] obligatory posting to forum
You’ll find that you’re very welcome here, at the latest by the time you’re asking questions, make proposals, even criticize.
If you take a look at the pages of registered users, you’ll find that around a tenth of them has registered only within the last 6 days. Please understand that there must be measures to cut this down to a reasonable extent.
Although you had a different impression: Welcome to TXP!
