FTP files uploads
Hi, I have a number of clients having problems by uploading files via Content>Files
Most of them have 128k connection ( its South Africa), it takes them so long to upload and, even after 30 min its not uploaded.
I have 1mb line and I can upload without a problem.
So, my question is, if I am in the 128k connection area and I cant upload. Is there anyway I can upload it via FTP ( I have done that without a problem) and go to the backend and use Content>Files to pick up the file I have just uploaded?
My other question, it would be great if the upload section got a progress bar so I can have an idea how long left to go during uploading.
Thanx

Hi Dimitri
Maybe I’m not understanding your question properly but anything uploaded via ftp in the files folder then becomes available in the pull down menu “Existing file” in Content>Files
