A plugin to reassign ID numbers to posts from the 'Write' tab ?
Is there a plugin to be able to change the ID number of a post from the ‘Write’ tab ? I wanted to reorganise the ID numbering of my posts and did it from going to myPhpAdmin and reassigning ID numbers around so that they would be in the right chronological order. I made the mistake of changing an ID to a 4-digit number, though, and now any new post I create gets an ID that picks up from this 4-digit number I used once (and then deleted).
I don’t know how to address that other than to go to myPhpAdmin again and putting the ID number for any new post right as it should follow from the previous post number, but it’s a hassle.

You can do that in phpMyAdmin: go to the ‘Operations’ tab for the ‘textpattern’ table, and set the ‘auto_increment’ field to the first unused number (so if your latest article is 99, set it to 100).
