TXP Links

I’m using Textpatterns built in Links to output links to MP3 files hosted on a different server. Is it possible to force Textpattern to download these files rather than try to open them. Ideally I’d rather not have to zip the files in order to achieve this.

Because the MP3 files have to be on a different server I’m using links, otherwise I’d use Textpatterns built in File management.

Thanks.

Re: TXP Links

I haven’t done this for anything but PDFs but either of these two could possibly be adapted to work for MP3s:

Re: TXP Links

Perhaps smd_remote_file can help.

Re: TXP Links

Another possibility is that entry into the .htaccess-file:

AddType application/octet-stream .mp3

of the server hosting the mp3 files, not the textpattern server.

Re: TXP Links

And there is no .htaccess-file? Or I understand something wrong?
