Event widget

Let’s say I have a TXP-published site and sometimes I post articles about upcoming events.

I’d like to offer a widget similar to Facebook’s Events, in which users can say whether they will attend said event or otherwise by pushing a button (“I’m attending, no, maybe”).

How can I achieve such result? I mean, is there a JS widget or something for this kind of things that I can paste in each article and forget about it? A TXP plug-in? Do I have to code it myself? Am I awesome? Do I smell?
