Moving site - same host different domain

Hi all,

just wondering after reading the clear and simple documentation from the ‘Textpattern Manual’ http://textpattern.net/wiki/index.php?title=Moving_Installation_from_one_Host_to_Another
I was wondering would the process be any simpler if you just needed to change your domain name on the same host???

Process:

1. Duplicate folder structure of your txp site into yournewdomain/ folder
2. Keep same database connection details in config.php
3. Change your site url and other paths in admin prefs. to yournewdomain.com

Would this work fine?

If so poss add to the Manual under ‘change domain name of site’ ?
