Platform for basic e-commerce

Hi, I need to set-up a modest on-line shop, I was wondering what is the platform of choice for you these days. A few years ago I often used OS Commerce but never liked it since installing and maintaining third parties contributions was a pain in the neck.

I hear most people moved to either Joomla, Drupal or even Magento.

Which platform would you recommend and/or are you using these days?

Thanks.

Neko,

Without any details about your project it’s difficult to give an opinion on what you should use.

However, I’ve been using Shopify a lot lately.
The liquid language is really pretty easy – and there’s this nice little cheat sheet to help.

Hope that helps.
:)

Heard good things about Vendr, now seems to have been renamed Wazala.

Jonathan – thanks for the heads up on that – I hadn’t heard of them.
