New Site Recommendation/Idea

I am coming mainly from a Wordpress development background and miss one of their really good rss aggregators. They have one website that tracks the latest from a large variety of sites, from the official to developers, to theme designers, to plugin developers, etc. There is one site out there for TXP that has this, but mainly for official TXP stuff, http://txplanet.net/. I think being able to highlight the active community members and the great content they provide, is a very good way to help newcomers to this CMS. The site from the wordpress community in question that I am using as an example is http://www.wptopics.com/ .

I really look forward to using TXP more in the future, but think we have to do more work on organizing and highlighting the community more. Google searching and finding mostly blog posts from 3+ years ago on TXP gives a bad first impression on whether this CMS is still relevant, I think a site like this would help shatter that perception.
