Approval for each drafted and edited article before publishing
Dear Textpattern-community,
until now I have used Textpattern to set up a few basic sites and I really love the system. But now I have encountered a problem to which I know no solution so I would like to ask you for input.
I want to set up a site in which every article drafted or edited by an author has to be aproved by a higher privileged user. As far as I understand, Textpattern currently only allows the former: When first drafting an article, it can only be approved by a privileged user who then publishes it. But afterwards, the original author can go back and change what he/she wants without the approval of the higher privileged user. Is there a way so that each time an author wants to change an article, their superior can approve the changes first?
I often thought about an article version history system like Wikipedia has, but I’ve not found any plugin for Textpattern that can do that.
Kind regards, jcd
