Upgrade, css not working at all

I just upgraded a site from 4.0.8 to 4.2, and I’m just about ready to go crazy. There are a few things going on that I have been completely unable to figure out, and which make entirely no sense to me:

1] My config.php is there, and the paths in it are correct, but the styles aren’t working on the site and when I view source the path is missing “textpattern” (it just shows the root directory of the site), therefore the css isn’t loading. But “textpattern” IS in the url in config.php, so by all rights it should be showing up in the css link path in my source code. I’m using the proper txp:css linking format in my pages.

2] Diagnostics says that css.php file is missing, yet it is there in the directory, plain as day.

3] Diagnostics says that index.php is out of date, but it’s the brand new one from the upgrade, so I don’t get how that can possibly be.

The AI does not hate you, nor does it love you, but you are made out of atoms which it can use for something else.

Re: Upgrade, css not working at all

You didn’t by accident forget to upload the files in the root directory? Overview of all files and folders here.
css.php was moved from /textpattern/ to /.

Re: Upgrade, css not working at all

Everything is where it should be. I’ve checked and triple checked.

EDIT: Sorry, I mis-read your message. Specifically the bit about how they’d all moved to “/”. Appreciate your help – that WAS the mistake I’d made. Thanks – fixed now. :^)
