can I add an article custom list into a core file?
Hey I’m editing the “txp_discuss.php” file (comments page)
and I want to add a list of articles inside it.
Is there a code that I can use it for do it please?
(without creating a section+page+form and view it into an iframe)

Either you are doing something very unconventional, or I have misused Textpattern for oh-so-many years. Why is txp:article_custom
not up to your task?

OK so maybe you can guide me how to do this:
I want to take everything off from the comments page except of the header&footer with the privileges.
and start create my own comments page using TXP tags.
why the hell?
because I’m using the Facebook comments-box script and not the regular txp-comments system.
so I need to have a page where I will display all the comments and be able to track them and manage.
And because I don’t know php/js so I don’t know how to do it and will like your help please =)

Now I understand. You won’t get far without knowing PHP when you want to change parts of the admin side, sorry.

@Robert The use of Textpattern as a self explaining and self repairing feature rich PHP framework with self fullfilling prophecies is a wealthy market niche. Go for it (or send open minded bloke to create the appropriate 64 MB plug-in).

OK so I will use an autoheight Iframe.
Is there a plugin that can make my new section (comments) to be able only for users not not to visitors please?
(I’m not so into use the password protect plugin, I prefer to use only for users if possible)

Facebook comments-box script
Use a rigid and solid external comment solution like Disqus or Backtype.
Edit: If you are the only person to see these comments and for convenience you want it inside your site just create some static pages (not sections & not inside TXP) to show this ‘other’ content.

Interesting thanks ;)
And I’m also found what I’m looking for rvm_privileged

@merz1: I resent the implication that my plugins are 64Mb… 128Mb is far more realistic ;-)

Have you looked at rvm_privileged? EDIT: Too slow!
