"Data too long for column" warning when trying to install plugin

I’m trying to install rss_admin_db_manager on an installation of 4.2.0 on a computer running Windows XP, and I’m getting a “Data too long for column” warning and the plugin won’t install. (Full text of the warning message follows below.) I successfully installed the plugin on an installation of 4.2.0 on Joyent, so it appears that the warning is specific to Windows. Any ideas?
