Safari not working on Mac, but Firefox works fine

Hello, I just installed TextPattern recently and started using it. I really like it so far and am impressed that it appears easy to integrate into my hand-written PHP website.

The only problem I’m having is that the Admin pages don’t work correctly in Safari on Mac OS X. I can see all the text and links but all the radio dialogs mysteriously disappear. For example a typical Yes / No question anywhere in the admin area shows up as a link but there is no radio box to select either option. When I switch to the Firefox browser on Mac it works fine, I can see the radio dialog boxes.

Can someone suggest a solution? It’s surely some kind of CSS or HTML issue. Even this forum only works correctly for me with Firefox, not Safari. Since Safari is supposedly Web standards ACID3 complaint is there anything I can do to make it work 100% in TextPattern? Other forums and blogs works fine, but I’d like to use Textpattern instead.

This is my first post… thanks for having this forum, it’s a great way for newbies like me to learn about your blogging application.

Try with JavaScript disabled.

I supose you are talking about Snow Leopard and Safari 4. It’s known issue. I supose you don’t accidently have zoom on?

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yes I did have zoom on, when I took it off I could see the radio buttons and everything worked. Thanks!

I actually use the zoom feature all the time, it’s a two-finger expand / pinch gesture on my multi-touch trackpad. It zooms the images too, which is really cool (versus just using “enlarge text” that has been in most browsers for ages). I’ll try it from now on without zoom. You were correct I’m using Snow Leopard and Safari 4 on a new 17” macbook pro.
