Lightbox-based image gallery needed (with potential for ongoing work)
Hello all,
We’re looking to add another Textpattern coder to our team. Initially we need your help installing and configuring a lightbox-based image gallery on an existing 4.0.6 website, using an existing plugin(s) of your choice (such as smd_gallery or similar).
Please contact me directly with any questions, or an estimate of time and costs. Please also include some links to sample work if you have any.
Fair professional rates paid, so serious developers only please.
In addition to the image gallery work described above, we’d be hoping to engage you for ongoing work and will therefore be preferring people with demonstrated skills and experience in the following:
- Authoring page templates and forms from provided HTML/CSS
- Installing and tweaking plugins, including presentational HTML/CSS
- Direct MySQL database manipulation of content – bulk import of articles, images, etc
Experience in custom plugin development and/or good knowledge of TXP core are ideal but not essential.
We’ll be making a selection on September 18, so would love to hear from you before then.
Looking forward to working with you!

According to plugin page, there are no specifics requirements.
I’ve used it on 4.0.6, although I think it’s possible that a particular plugin feature may require 4.0.7+ to work.

Correct. The plugin is as version agnostic as it can be (think it should even work on 4.0.4) but some of the advanced things in recent iterations might be a little squiffy — especially with MLP because that sometimes doesn’t work on old versions of TXP.
The smd plugin menagerie — for when you need one more gribble of power from Textpattern. Bleeding-edge code available on GitHub.
