Best SEF URL plugin
I would like to have ‘category’ be part of the path of my URL rather than a query parameter. I have been trying different URL plugins, but each of them have resulted in errors.
Can anyone recommend a URL plugin that will solve my need that works with textpattern 4.0.8, and maybe even 4.2.0?

I have tried sgb_url_handler and sgb_url_handler.
I was going to try zem_rewrite next.

Oops, my list was wrong, I tried gbp_permanent_links and received error messages.
I’m getting close with zem_rewrite, but it isn’t generating correct URLs, they are missing the host!

gbp_permanent_links works with 4.0.8. An issue with 4.2.0 was mentioned, but I assume the plugin will be updated at some time.

Unfortunately after installing gbp_admin_library & gbp_permanent_links get the following error on top of the textpattern pages:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /users/home/mark/domains/pickl-it.com/web/public/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(570) : eval()’d code on line 1905
The above errors were caused by the plugin:gbp_permanent_links

FYI… I read somewhere to use the ‘minified’ rather than the ‘compressed’ version of the ‘gbp_permanent_links ‘ download. The error message did disappear when I used the ‘minified’ version.
