In the admin area > Admin > Basic, the text “Automatically adjust DST setting?” doesn’t appear.
And how could I add unlimited extra fields?

This setting appears on capable PHP webspace with PHP 5.1+
And how could I add unlimited extra fields?
With the help of glz_custom_fields, once it is adapted to 4.2.0.

I really like the nav in Remora. The admin template system is nice. I’ve already got my third theme running along side the two originals in /theme.
Really excited to see what these are all about:
- Role-based permission checks for images, links and files
- Core support for unlimited custom fields
- Multi-site capabilities
Great job!

I’d follow your svn updates. I use 4.2.0 – previously 4.0.9 – still 4 months ;)
Just a question: what kind of server do we have to try new multi-sites feature?
Best regards,
Patrick.

This feature works best with any Unix-like O/S (Linux, Solaris, MacOS). Applying the gist of the instructions provided here on a Windows server also works. Shell access at the server is a prerequisite, though.
In general, multi-site capabilities are currently built for people who know their way around their server’s O/S. We’ll address the remaining fraction of the population in a future release.

Ok. So, I need a new server now :))

So it will be possible and in an easiest way with next realize?

I’ve found an small issue.
The »Default admin tab« won’t work when the »Extension« tab or a sub-tab of this is selected.

One doubt about the admin template system: is David DeSandro’s dds_admin_style plugin that has beeen included in the core?

Hi Robert,
thanks for 4.2.0.
in images -> Textile -> generate tag ->css class is missing
In older Versions it is missing too, but perhaps you can fix it. Its important for newbies to put images to articles und let them float by classes.
Thanks

If I understand it correctly those themes are based on standard markup (classic theme). As they do not change any markup (only css) they would be dead-easy to convert. Some people probably have already. Although really useful pre 4.2, the plugin itself which is a mechanism for switching themes, is no longer necessary.
A newish plugin by some british lunatic (smd_admin_themes ) adds the ability to edit, import, export and activate themes right from the extensions tab.
My apologies to David Dessandro if I got any of this wrong. Let me reiterate that his templating and plugin was a totally cool way of getting around pre 4.2 admin markup limitations.
