Calling articles in theme

Hello.

Is it possible to call on the latest stories (eg. 2.th latest article) via Txp-tags?
I want the latest article to appear at the top of the frontpage in its own layout.
No. 2, 3, 4, 5 will be shown in 2 rows.

How can i do this?

Use two article” or article_custom tags, use the sort attribute (with “posted desc” or “modified desc”) and combine the limit and offset attributes.
