Save as draft by default as user option

Maybe you can help that guy in future versions of Textpattern :)
I thought I remember a plug-in but a search for draft doesn’t find an existing solution.

Wie ich Textpattern dafür hasse, dass Artikel standardmäßig veröffentlicht und nicht als Entwurf gespeichert werden. twitter.com/krifitze

Translation: “How I hate Textpattern for publishing articles ‘live’ by default and not as draft.”

The standard workaround would be to log-in as restricted user (freelancer or designer) but most one-person self hosted TXP installations only have this one-person as publisher (aka super user).

How about a ‘save as draft’ core option?
What would you prefer? A general option or a per user option?

Re: Save as draft by default as user option

A possibly related feature request of mine might also come under this heading. I don’t mind if the ‘right’ solution to both problems is a plugin.
