[solved] class attribute in txp:permlink?

According to textbook a class attribute can be used in the txp:permlink tag (or not? the article seems to contradict itself in the end)

I’m trying to use:
@<txp:permlink class=“btn” >View</ txp:permlink >

but txp seems to choke on it, it will not display anything in my form after that line, but it does not output any errors in debug mode.

All this is in txp 4.0.8

Any clues as to what (if anything) I’m doing wrong?
