You may need to clear your browser cache. The zoom setting is used when there is already a point associated with the aarticle or when an address is looked up. It is not used when creating a new article.

OK. I see that working now. Does this mean that when the map is first displayed, it is always zoomed out? And the address setting is a nice touch!

When it’s first displayed and there are no values in the custom fields, yes. I could add an additional zoom setting for this when I have time.

Version 1.6 adds an intial zoom setting for the starting point of the map when there are no coordinates in the custom fields.

I’ll check it too.
Unfortunately I have to translate some items (Map, Address lookup…) every time but the new function it seems useful, so…
If can I suggest a thing: it would be nice a border around the map in the write page like the one around the “Address lookup” field: how can I obtain that? I have to add a class to the TXP admin css or is it possible to add it in the plugin code? Actually the map, without any border, it’s not perfect looking according to me…

Alesandro, I will look at adding the border tonight and I might be able to make the translation easier as well. I should have some time tonight if you want to wait.

Alesandro, I don’t have a border around the address lookup field in my browser. Can you send me a screen shot? Are you using the large map or the small sidebar map?

Version 1.7 adds compatability with MLP Pack which should help with Alesandro’s translation issues.

Thanks Matt, this is my write page:
it would be great to have the same 1pixel border around the map and the left margin aligned with the Title (titolo) and the Address lookup (Indirizzo) ones.

What theme are you using for your admin? The style should really be set in the theme’s css and not by the plugin in my opinion. The map div has an id of “map”.
