[resolved] moved servers, more problems
seems to be the running theme of my year so far. i approved this server that my client uses because it met all the requirements for mysql but i will find out soon enough if it really doesn’t like me.
my first hint of problems is i had to reset my password to get into the admin panel.
pre-flight check:
i moved the .htaccess file, but it says it’s missing.
deleted the /setup folder to check that preflight is working ok and it is.
$path_to_site is going to my old server
public_html/index.php is inaccessible and it’s going to my old server
any ideas of what’s gone wrong here?

Did you change config.php to reflect the new situation?

yep! if you don’t change it, you can’t get into the backend of txp, right?

woh i went back to the site today, and everything’s working! i think what happened is maybe the domain needed a few hours to fully propogate or something similar on the backend that i don’t know about.

haha well i must say it’s great when you can wake up and your problems are gone. i wish i could say that about a lot of other things this year ;)
