Multi-Lingual Pack + MediaBox Advanced ?

Greetings, I’ve trying out MLP. It’s a great plugin. But I have a little problem. I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Before I’ve installed MLP, I had been looking for a good lightbox style plugin that I could use images, links etc. Then I had found MediaBox Advanced. The problem is I’ve just found out that MLP and MB Advance doesn’t work together. Something to with mootools and jquery not being compatible (i think).

So, is there anything that can be done about it? Or should start looking for another lightbox style plugin? If so, could anyone suggest a plugin I could use with MLP.

Go to jQuery and search for “noconflict”. It should show you how to solve this. As memory serves, you add jQuery.noConflict(); or some such at the top of your jQuery logic. Then you change all your dollar signs to jQuery and this should stop any conflicts you have.

I had a similar problem, with mootools lightbox and JQuery tabs…noconflict will help in some situations, but then I’ve find that there are two versions of Slimbox, one using mootools and the other using jquery…so try using slimbox instead, with the script you’ve already using…

There is a jQuery lightbox as well :-)
