comment-form disapear after submit

is there any way to make the comment-form not disapear after hitting the submit button.. when the “Thank you for adding your comment. “ msg appears?

and also, how can I reposition this thank you msg on the page?

As far as I know there isn’t, but here is a thread about the same subject, with an interesting workaround.
