Future or Upcoming Events?

I’m looking for a plugin that will allow me to add upcoming events to my site … have it featured on the home page in list form and link to a page for further details on the event. Can’t seem to find anything … can someone point me in the right direction?

There are many ways, for example, smd_calendar (new), zem_event or jmc_event_manager :-) If they should be a bit overkill, you can also roll your own simple version using msv_if_custom_article_date in combination with txp:article and its time="future" attribute (see note here).
