Searching in selected category?
Hello!
Can someone please tell me how can I perform a search in a specified category?
For example a user uses search_form on my site, he sees the results, then he can choose to “Search only in Category1”, “Search only in Category2” and so on…
After search my url is: index.php?s=search&q=text+to+search
Maybe I can generate a new url something like: index.php?s=search&q=text+to+search&category=Category1 ?
Or what else I can do?

I know that you can search a particular section with something like http://site.tld/sectionname/?q=keyword but I’m not sure if that can be limited to a category. JM has helped us create the section specific searches over to our site. If you want to know his code, we have his permission to share:)
