Local Host BLAH message

I’ve got a local host txp install running 4.0.6 — I’m getting a “BLAH” message at the top of the browser screen on the local host — but only on some pages. I’ve included a link to a screen print illustrating the error message I’m receiving below.

I’ve searched the forum haven’t had any luck — any suggestions on what I need to search for — any keyword suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Screen Print with BLAH message indicated at top of browser window

I’ve added a link in my first post of the browser window illustrating the error message I’m receiving on the local host TXP install

smd_where_used is a plugin which might be able to assist you in your search.

having said that, the “BLAH” looks like it’s a title which means that you may have named a section or category or article as such.

Thanks for that suggestion — although I could not find any instances of BLAH titles using the “where used” function, the plugin will be useful.

Re: Local Host BLAH message

It certainly looks like something accidentally left ‘somewhere’ (page? form? …). Doesn’t the page source give you any clues?

Thanks — I’m looking. Could it be the result of something left out — like a form or image tag where the form or image is missing?

I don’t think so. I’m quite sure it has to be something you typed yourself (in a distant past?). I know I type ‘blah’ all the time when building a site and testing things… ;)

Edit: you can use phpMyAdmin to search your entire database for ‘BLAH’…

Ok — I’ll keep searching. The original work is not my own — I’ve had to take over the admin after my tech guy took a full-time job. I’m learning — slowly — but I’m learning. Thanks again for the help.

I’ll try the php search next — thanx.

Re: Local Host BLAH message

Thanks for the replys. I did the DB table search and immediately found BLAH as a term used the jad_metadata plugin — removal of the tag eliminates the error. Now I just need to figure out why. I’m going to check the plugin docs for an update and go from there. I appreciate the assist. Have a great day.

Re: Local Host BLAH message

Glad you found it. Looks like something the plugin author left in then… ;)

You might want to check out rah_metas that includes many automatic meta and SEO tools, from descriptions to double content predictions :) Plus it’s also still activately updated and maintained ;)

Thanks for that link — I’m going to update my local host txp to 4.0.8 and install this plugin. I noticed that my jad_metadata hasn’t been updated for awhile.
